In Luxor, we will pick you up at your hotel and drive you in a private A/C car to the beautiful city of Aswan. Visit the most famous place in Aswan, the Philae Temple, which was built for the goddess of motherhood, Isis. On this trip, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant and then take a traditional felucca ride to learn about Elephantine Island and the Nubian Village. Look inside the homes of the friendly Nubians and enjoy the bright colors they use to paint them.
When your tour is over, your guide will take you back to your hotel, where you can spend the night.
Optional:
Philae Temple Sound and Light Show.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan at 3:30 AM and drive you to Abu Simbel, where you'll see two temples: the Temple of Queen Nefertari and the Temple of Ramses II. Both were built during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II. The two impressive temples were first cut out of the living rock during the reign of Ramses II.
The Great Temple at Abu Simbel took almost twenty years to build. It was a place of worship for Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah. The Small Temple or temple of Hathor and Nefertari was a place of worship for Hathor and Nefertari, who was Rameses II's wife. This was the first of only two temples in Egypt's history built for a queen.
We will eat lunch at a restaurant in Aswan.
Finaly, your guide will take you back to your hotel in Luxor.
